‘Be careful of Robbers in sheep clothing’ is a message that everyone needs to read, especially seekers of God. The Church is supposed to represent the place of deliverance where people should run into and be saved, but many churches have become a market place where people come to buy and to sell. Some pastors do not care about the welfare of the sheep anymore but they focus on how to drain peoples’ lives. If you are a person who does not have money, you are relegated to the side-lines and not counted as such pastors’ friend. If you do not have money these pastors who have greed will not attend your special occasions or any of your events.
Many Christians or believers today who have innocent intentions, are very gullible, naive, and even childish in the fact that they do not operate in the gift of discerning of spirits to be able to differentiate wolves in sheep’s clothing or robbers in a white clothing from true pastors. Seekers of God are falling prey to celebrity personalities, and they swoon over famous name preachers for no other reason than these individuals have a lofty title such as “Senior Pastor”, “Prophet”, “Prophetess”, “Evangelist”, “Reverend”, “Doctor”, “Bishop”, or some other clergy name. Those titles mean absolutely nothing, but many Christians think that anyone who has such a title is somehow “important”, above the common person, especially anointed, has authority over the sheep, and is Jesus Christ ordained and yet that is far from the truth, and Jesus himself warns us in Matthew 7:15:
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Apostle Paul warns us in the book of 2 Corinthians saying:
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15.
Many Pastors, Prophets, Apostle, Evangelist, Bishop are ministers of profit –Dollars $$$, Pounds-£- Rands-R, Naira- N etc. They are not ministers of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. What they care about is how to loot your home and your belongings. They can pray for you to die for them to inherit your properties. Children of God open your eyes very well; do not run to join any organisation because of miracles or signs and wonders. You need to separate miracles from magic, what you are seeing in some Churches today is magic. Many ministers build kingdoms for themselves not for God. Some Pastors spend hours to Dance, hours to collect offering and for fake deliverances and there is no time for the genuine word of God.
Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
How would you perceive a false prophet? By his appearance? No! He is wearing sheep’s clothing. Would it be by his heart? No again. You have no idea of the thoughts he has formulated in his heart. Well then how? Purely and simply by his actions. One cannot bring forth grapes and figs from the source of a thornbush and thistle farm, can he? You can only know who is a false prophet by his fruit or actions. One cannot gather good fruit “from” thornbushes and thistles. Nothing good will come from the man whose source is in the carnal nature.
Matthew 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
False prophetic attire makes it difficult to identify them, they will only be known by the fruit they bear and not the package they send it in. They are often misleading by apparel of mannerism and smooth sincere sounding talk. People tell me, “You just don’t know the brothers heart, if you think you do you are mistaken.” That is true, I don’t know his heart, but neither do any of us. It is the fruit that identifies the source of their decisions. One who causes division is not one drawing from the source of the Holy Spirit. A man who gathers his fruit from thornbushes and thistles, will not be able to offer grapes and figs to the church.
WOE TO THE PASTOR WHO DESTROYS AND SCATTERS THE SHEEP
Jeremiah 1:1-8
“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the shepherds who feed my people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the LORD. “But I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the LORD. “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. “Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.”
If you are a pastor, prophet, or an apostle and all that you know is to destroy and scatter the sheep, I want you to know that the Lord God Almighty is against you and your character toward His sheep. “Behold I come quickly and my Judgement is in revisable, ”says the Lord.
God will attend to you for the evil of your doings. When the judgement of God comes upon you, you will vomit all that you have swallowed. The Lord God Almighty is jealous of His flock, God is coming soon to gather His flock and He will take over His Church from the hands of those who scattered the church.
In conclusion, Children of God, whatever you are going through in life, God has not forsaken you. He loves you and He will come for you to deliver you from all your troubles. Seek the face of God, look for Him while He may be found. He will surely wipe away your tears. Your tomorrow is better than today. The peace of God be with you.
